Take what you need….donate what you can.

When Coronavirus hit and we had to close our doors, one of the ways we felt we could help our community was to start a Community Pantry.  The idea was a simple one – have some non-perishable items in a pantry on the front porch of the House for anyone to use or donate to that could be accessed anytime.  With restrictions meaning we couldn’t be present in person, we hoped that this would be another way for us to connect to and support our community.

Now that we have come through our lockdown and restrictions are easing even more, we still have the pantry on the front porch.  We hope that we can continue to provide this service to our community. Sometimes, we all need a little support or helping hand – to be able to offer a community pantry and other support where needed is something we cherish at the House.

For those looking to donate, we are looking for non-perishable food items, toiletries and cleaning products.  You can drop them in during office hours or pop them in the pantry at anytime.  A BIG thank you from the House for your support.

For those needing the pantry, please feel free to come and take what you need.  If there is something missing or you think you would be good for us to provide, please leave us a note on the paper provided.  You’re welcome to pop in during office hours for a cuppa and a chat to see how we can further support you.
